Despite the seclusion of Lilla Lyngabo, everything is close by. Haverdals Nature Reserve with Scandinavia's highest sand dune, 3 km from Lilla Lyngabo, offers fantastic hiking trails and Halmstad's most beautiful and quiet beach.

Along the coastal strip outside Halmstad beaches, cliffs and harbours follow one another, from the small bay of Skälvikshamn, for those who want privacy, to the long beach of Tylösand with after-beach and concerts for those who want to party. Haverdals Golfklubb is 2 km from Lilla Lyngbo, one of Halmstad's many fantastic golf courses. Ringenäs golf course and Tylösands golf course are two other nearby courses, only 5 km and 10 km from Lilla Lyngabo.
